The meeting point, it is the 199bus stop opposite our school, Arts Design and Media.

Dotted is the route of bus service 179, in case you want to take the route.

As agreed, the price will be $60/trip, from NTU to Singapore Zoological Garden, and a further $60 for the trip back.

Date: 15th Sep 2008, Monday
Venue: 199 Bus-stop, Zoo Carpark
Meeting Time: 0910am and 130PM respectively

if there are any delays on monday on the trip back, i will inform you by 1pm.

those who are meeting to put your lanterns(non-hall stayers) at wen kai's hall, please meet at 0830hrs so that we have 30mins to put down and back, for those who dont need to deposit their lanterns(hall stayers), meet at the 199 bus stop at 9am sharp.
 
the trip will be $120 in total, so it counts to $6 per person, sorry if its too ex or what, i tried to ask for less already..
 
please do bring the $ and pass it to me on that morning, also i hope no one suddenly backs out, because the cost will be split amongst the rest..

Trip to Japan

Goal: Raise $50K in 2 months

Overseas Youth Programme can provide a source of monetary support if its for educational basis and if it'll provide Singapore with some benefits. Its by National Youth Council, Singapore. I personally applied for this when I went to usa for a computer graphics conference for 2 weeks. State that you going for a study trip.

Alrighty, i think its time for me to post something more useful... lol

Hmm, this has nothing to do with earning money, but well, this is one of the bigger local design contest around. And I've participated in it before, its a nice place to get exposure and to know some other local artist.

Another cool site to earn some quick cash, if you are good enough. Design a T-shirt, and if its pick as the daily best you get $750 in your pocket. $1000 more for the monthly best. But the difficulty will be getting people to vote for your design.

Same idea as DBH, but less competition and less money too. I've tried it but still not very sure how it works.

Morning international Manga Competition. From the name you should know that this is a Manga Comic competition, can try if you are interested, but you may find yourself against professional artists from all over the world. Holy prize is US5000! Deadline is Sept 30th.
